Indenture made September 8, 1778; Manum Beall, planter of Montgomery County, Maryland one of the United States of America in consideration of 187 pounds 10 shillings current money of the state paid by Basil Lucas of Montgomery County, Maryland has sold parts of two adjoining PGCo tracts called "Godfathers Gift" and "Pammers Island" being part of "William & Elizabeth" and containing 93 ¾ acres.
