      -Sarah to have part of a tract of land called "Wantwater" beginning at a stone standing near the side of a broad creek near the fishing landing and thence up the road through the gate to the main road which leads from Piscataway to Broad Creek Church and thence down the main road to testator's line of "Battersey" to the gate and near Sal Linsey's and w/ the said line to the end or corner of that part of the land which testator purchased from Basil Stonestreet and thence down to Stonestreet's Spring Branch and w/ the branch to the line of "Wantwater" to the aforesaid creek and thence down and with the said creek to the beginning stone and also to have all that part of "Phillips Addition" and "Phillips Addition Enlarged" which was conveyed to testator by James Marshall and made use of by Benjamin Thorne and Thomas Meeks --also to have that part which the main road goes through "as we Ride from Broad Creek to Piscataway" and adjoining the land of William Diggs called "Dallkeeth"

Provided nevertheless, that Enoch Magruder shall well and truly pay the above mentioned crop tobacco convienent on Patuxent River with legal interest on or before December 10th next, thn the present writing to be void and of non effect.       This Indenture made the Tenth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Between Zachariah Wade of Fairfax County in the Colony of Virginia but now of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one Part and Enoch Magruder of Prince Georges County in the Province aforesaid Merchant of the other part Witnesseth That the said Zachariah Wade party to these Presents for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred and Twenty Pounds nineteen shillings and eight pence Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the said Enoch Magruder the Receipt whereof he the said Zachariah Wade doth hereby acknowledge Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed Released Confirmed and made over and by these Presents doth for himself and his Heirs give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff Release Confirm and make over unto the said Enoch Magruder his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Stoney Harbour lying and being in Prince Georges County to him the said Zachariah Wade by the Testament and last Will of his Deceased Father Zachariah Wade and also all that Tract of Entry Sur Disseisin en le post did recover against the said Zachariah Wade all that Tract or Parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Stoney Harbour lying and being in Prince Georges County aforesaid which Same Part lyeth on the North Side of Tinkers Run and was devised to him the said Zachariah Wade by he Testament and last Will of his Deceased Father Zachariah Wade and also all that Tract or parcel of Land called Wades Adventure lying and being in the county aforesaid and adjoining to the said part of the afsd Tract of Land called Stoney Harbour containing One hundred Acres       Prince Georges County May the 10th 1760 Then Came Zachariah Wade before Us Two of his Lordships Justices of the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within Deed and the Lands and Premisses with the appurtenances within mentioned to be the Right of the within mentioned Enoch Magruder his Heirs and Assigns according to the true intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such cases made and Provided And also at the same Time came Ann Wade the Wife of the Said Zachariah Wade who being privately examined out of the Hearing of her Husband did willing and freely acknowledge the within Deed and give up her Right of Dower of the Lands and Premisses with the Appurtenances within Mentioned and without being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill usage by her husband or fear of his Displeasure

      Indenture made October 22, 1760; Thomas Snowden, Gentleman and Margaret Pile, widow in consideration of 300 pounds sterling of Great Britain paid by Enoch Magruder, merchant has sold parts of "Northampton", "Kettering" and "Addition to Kettering" containing 291-1/2 acres and beginning near the road that now leads from Mr. Rachael Spriggs to Upper Marborough Town and bounded by the dividing line between Edward Sprigg and Osborn Sprigg; as also that part of "Northampton" containing 9-3/4 acres and beginning in the branch that runs from the plantation of Mrs. Margaret Pile near where Dorothy Lucas lately lived and runs thence near the bridge over the main road next to John Cooke's Esqr. Signed Thomas Snowden, Margaret Pile in the presence of James Beck, Thomas Williams and acknowledged before John Contee, Thomas Williams and at the same time Mary Snowden w/o Thomas Snowden relinquished her right of dower

      I Enoch Magruder in consideration of the love good will and affection which I have and do bare towards my loving daughter Mary Meek Clagett has given parts of three tracts; "Stoney Harbour" containing 157 acres; "Magruders Advantageous Conjecture" containing 129 acres; and "Lanhams Folly" containing 23 acres and bounded by Tinkers Branch, the main road that leads from Piscattaway to Broad Creek by the plantation of the late Mr. Thomas Dyar, the road the leads towards the Wood Yard, the second line of the "Two Johns" containing in the whole 308 acres. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this March 30, 1769, Enoch Magruder in the presence of and acknowledged before George Hardey, Jr., Richard Duckett, Jr. and at the same time Meek Magruder w/o Enoch Magruder relinquished her right of dower

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this March 30, 1769, Enoch Magruder in the presence of and acknowledged before George Hardy, Jr., Richard Duckett, Jr. and at the same time Meek Magruder wife to Enoch Magruder relinquished her right of dower

      I Enoch Magruder in consideration of the love goodwill and affection which I have and do bear towards my loving daughter Amy Burgess wife to Charles Burgess do give her by these presents part of a tract called "Enlargement to Kendricks Chance" containing 188 acres and beginning at a oak standing in the fork of Tinkers Branch; also one other tract called "Lanhams Delight" containing 106 acres and beginning at the 3rd line of said tract which is in the main road that leads from Upper Marlborough to Broad Creek.       Indenture made June 6, 1785; Enoch Magruder in consideration of the quantity of 12,000 pounds of crop tobacco paid by William Sprigg Bowie has sold part of "Lot Number 3" lying in the Town of Upper Marlborough that was devised to the said Enoch Magruder by his father James Magruder by his last will and testament.
