Co., planter for 25 lbs 397 and 1/2 a....in Turuo Parish....half part of pattent for 795 a. gr. by Proprietors Office to James Brechin father of aforesd. James being about 2 miles below Falls of Potomack River joyn to land formerly Thomas Going (now Col. Mason's orphans) as by deed dated Dec. 20, 1716....descended to James Brechin by last will of James Brechin his father dated Oct. 19, 1721....deed of lease and release. James Brechin

      Page 220. James Brechin and John Ragland Jr. both of St. Paul Parish Hanover Co., planter are bound unto Daniel Jennings of Cople Parrish West. Co., planter in sum of 100 lbs. curr. money dated May 1, 1739. The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound James Brechin observe and keep all covenants and agreements what ought to be observed mentioned in a certain indenture of release between James Brechin and Daniel Jenings according to the true intent then this obligation to be void else to remain effectual in the law.
