      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that wee MARY FANN and NEWMAN BROCKENBROUGH of County of Richmond are held and firmly bound unto the Worshipful' his Majesties justices of the Peace for sd, County in the full and just sume of One hundred pounds Sterling to the wch: paymt. well & truly to be made wee bind ourselves our heirs firmly by these presents; Sealed with our Seales and dated the 3rd day of Febry: 1719
      THE CONDITION of this Obligation is such that if the above bound MARY FANN, Admra. of all the goods chattles & creditts of JOHN FANN, deced., doe make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all the goods chattles and creditts of sd. deced., and the same soe made doe exhibitt into the County Court of Richmond att such time as she shall be thereunto required by the Court, and the same goods chattles and credits do administer according to Law, And further doe make a true & just acct. of her actings and doing therein when therm required by said CourL, and pay unw such persons respectively as the Justices by their order of judgment shall direct pursuant to the Laws in such case made and provided; And if it shall hereafter appear that any Last Will & Testament was made by the sd. deced., & the Exr. or Ears, therein named doe exhibitt the same in the Court makeing request to have it approved and allowed, accordingly if the sde. MARY FANN, being thereunto required doe render and deliver up her Letters of Admon approbation of such Testament being first had in sd. Court, Then this obligation to be void and of none effect, otherwise to remaine in full force and virtue

      THIS INDENTURE made this Fourth day of December Anno Dom: one thousand seven hundred and Sixteen Between JNO: HARRIS of County of Richmond of one part and JNO. FAN of sd; County of other part, Wittnesseth that JNO: HARRIS for the sum of Five shillings Sterling to him pd: by sd. JNO: FAN, by these p:sents doth sell and demise unto JNO: FAN his heirs one parcell of land containing by estimation Eighty acres lying and being in the Parrish of Northfarnham in County afsd: and bounded, Beginning at a Pokickory in Mr. THOS. DICKENSON Line and running along a line of marked trees down to a Branch, and so along the Branch down to HOGG TOWN SWAMP, and so along the Swamp down to a white Oak being DICKENSON's Corner tree standing by or nere the BRIDGE called BROWN's BRIDGE, and so up that line to the beginning, Together with all woods houses orchards & hereditamts. To have and to hold the Eighty acres of land unto JNO. FAN his heirs dureing the term of one year paying the rent of one ear of Indian Corn att the Feast day of the Birth of Our Lord God next ensuving, if lawfully demanded, to the intent that by venue of' these p:sents and of the Statute of transferring of uses into possession sd. JNO.       KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JOHN TUNE of County of Richmond for the consideration of Two thousand pounds of tobbo: in caske payd by WILLIAM BROCKENBROUGH to said JOHN TUNE, by these presents doth bargaine sett over and confirme unto WILLIAM BROCKENBROUGH his heires a certaine parcel of land lying in County of Richmond being part of a tract of land formerly granted to Mr. LUKE BILLINGTON and JAMES TUNE beareing date November the 12th Ano. 1663 the bounds of the parcell of land are as followeth: Beginning att a marked Hickory tree standing in the line of ROBERT BAYLY and the said tree being the begining tree to part the land of Mr. LUKE BILLINGTON and JAMES TUNE and running South East according to the said division along the dividing line to the head of a branch comonly knowne & called by the name of CHRISTOPHERS BRANCH and running from thence dowse the branch through a little sort of woods and through a parcel! of cleared grounds to the woods side to a marked Gum standing in the said branch; thence along by the Woods side takeing in all the cleared ground running North West or neare being parallell with the first Course until it comes to WILLIAM STONEs line, formerly BEDWELLs. and from thence according to the Course of the Patent to the place it first began, the said land to have and to hold with all houses orchards timbers thereunto belonging unto WILLIAM. BROCKENBROUGH his heires and JOHN TUNE doth bind my selfe my heirs to warrant and defend the sale of the said land from the claymes of any person In Wittness whereof I have hereunto putt my hand and affixed my seale this 17 day of August Ano Dom 1697.
