      Northumberland County Court 19th day of March 1707
      - HENRY HOPKINS and MARY his wife Administratrix of THOMAS BAKER deceased Confesses Judgment to BARTHOLOMEW SCHREEVER for the payment of Two hundred Ninety Nine pounds of Tobacco due to the said SCHREEVER by Account from the said BAKER in his Lifetime And Ordered the said HOPKINS and MARY his wife Administratrix as aforesaid pay the same unto the said SCHREEVER out of the said Deceased's Estate with Costs alias Execution.

      - MARY BAKER and LUCY BAKER Daughters and Co-heirs of THOMAS BAKER late of this County deceased by their Nearest Friend HENRY HOPKINS in Chancery Complains that the said THOMAS BAKER died Possessed in his Demesne as of Fee of four hundred Twenty Five Acres of Land situated in this County which said Land since the decease of the aforesaid THOMAS BAKER is Come and descended according to the Course of the Common Law upon the said MARY and LUCY and since the Decease of the said THOMAS BAKER One RICHARD SMITH of this County commonly called by the Name of RICHARD SMITH late Under sheriff to Col. RODHAM KENNER deceased has Entered into One hundred Acres of Land part of the aforesaid Four hundred Twenty Five Acres of Land and thereon Commits Waste Sale and destruction to the disherison' of the aforesaid MARY and LUCY and for as much as the said RICHARD SMITH has been often in a Friendly Manner entreated to surrender to the said MARY and LUCY the possession of their lands aforesaid or at Least to Forebear Committing any Waste or destruction thereon until they should by a due Course of Law Recover the possession of the Land Yet Contrary to Equity and good Conscience he refuses to do the same and still Continues to Commit Waste and destruction thereon In Consideration whereof and because by the Strict Rules of the Common Law there is no means appointed nor process to be had to Compel the said SMITH to Forbear Committing any further Waste and destruction as aforesaid the said MARY and LUCY apply themselves for Relief and protection and pray that her Majesty's Most Gracious Writ of Injunction may be directed to the said RICHARD SMITH his Agents and Factors strictly Commanding and Enjoining them and every of them that they Forbear to Commit any Funner waste or destruction in and upon the atoresaid lands under the penalty of one hundred pounds Sterling etc. And Whereupon an Injunction is hereby Accordingly granted thereby Commanding and requiring the said RICHARD SMITH his Agents and Factors as aforesaid under the penalty of the said sum of One hundred pound Sterling to be Recovered of the said SMITH by the said Complainants that he the said RICHARD SMITH his Agents nor Factors as aforesaid shall from and after his or their being Served with this Writ and having Lawful notice thereof Commit any further Waste or destruction in and upon the Lands of the said Complainants until by a Due Course of Law the Premises shall be further Inspected and Considered.
