To: ELIZABETH MORLEY, Executrix of the last will and testament of GRIFFIN MORLEY of Anne Arundel County, de-ceased.
Price: 45 pounds sterling
Property: A 200 acre part of a tract called "Waugh-ton" on the eastern branch of the Potomac River. In 1687, a 492 acre tract called "Waughtown" in Charles County, bounding on a tract called "Cuckhold Delight," and on land of BENJAMIN HADDOCK, was granted to WILLIAM LYLE, late of Calvert County, deceased, ("see survey of 4 August 1686"). WILLIAM LYLE died intestate and the tract passed to his eldest son ROBERT LYLE of Calvert Co. who contracted to sell 200 acres of the land to the said GRIFFIN MORLEY, 18 May 1698. Said land was bequeathed by said MORLEY in his will dated 9 August 1699.
