KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JAMES ORCHARD of ye County of Rappae: Planter, doe hereby obleige me my heires or assignes for & in consideration of a MARRIAGE to be made & consumated between mee, ye said JAMES ORCHARD & MARY WEIRE of ye said County & place; doe obleidge me & my heires at ye decease of ye abovesd, MARY WEIRE to pay or cause to be paid unto MARY ERWIN, Daughter of ANN BININ of ye County of Rappae: Two thousand pounds of good sound merchantable arronoco tobacco to be paid unto her or her heires upon demand after ye decease of ye abovesaid MARY WEIRE, In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & Seale 1678 this is to be paid in Plate or Linning at (blank)
