upon the land of RUSH HUTSON and RiCHARD BUTLER alIso upon land of Mr. ROWLAND THORNTON dividing ffrom the land of ELIZABETH GREEN Mother to the said GEORGE GREEN her orchard or housing to the said branch of Poultridges creek which is called by the name of Bald Eagle Run to include sixty and ffive acres of land being part of a Patent granted by the Proprietors of the Northern Neck of Virginia unto GEORGE GREEN late of the said County deceased ffather to the said GEORGE GREEN party to these presents for 885 acres ..

Indenture made 13th April 1760 between JOHN GREEN of county Stafford and FRANCIS THORNTON of county King George .. Whereas GEORGE GREEN late of county Richmond was in his life time possessed of a certain parcel of land lying in parish of Hanover and county King George containing 885 acres or thereabouts .. made his last will and testament in writing bearing date 9th June 1716 .. did devise the said tract of land to his sons JOHN GREEN (party hereto his Eldest son & heir at law), THOS, GEORGE, JOSEPH, WILLIAM, SAMUEL, DANIEL, and ISAAC and to his Daughters ELIZABETH & CREES {sic Grace} GREEN .. equally divided among them after death of Testator the said tract of land was equally divided & allotted to the several children .. upon which allotment 69 acres .. and bounded Southerly by the Dividend of land allotted to Elizabeth and since purchased by FRANCIS THORNTON, Easterly by the Dividend allotted to DANIEL GREEN also purchased by Francis Thornton, Northerly by dividend allotted to SAMUEL GREEN and Westerly by tract of land belonging to THOMAS WILLKERSON was allotted to GREES GREEN as her equal dividend .. and Whereas said Grees being possessed as tenant departed this life intestate and without issue of her body .. said parcel of land reverted and came to John Green party hereto as Eldest Son and heir at law .. Now This Indenture .. Witnesseth that John Green for sum Twenty four pounds currt. money sold Francis Thornton the above recited tract of land containing 69 acres
