In the Name of God Amer. I KALEM PRICE of Culpeper County in Bromfield Parish being very sick and weak in body but in perfect memory do make this my last Will and Testamerit ..
first I give and bequeath my Soul to almighty God that gave it me and my body to the ground to be decently buried ., and my worldly goods I leave and dispose of in manner and form following
Imprimis
Item Secondly I give and bequeath to my loving Wife MARY PRICE my Plantation whereon I now live dureing her natural life and all the land belonging to the same from my lower corner line tree on the river up to the mouth of a Branch above the Plantation and up to the Branch to the head and that course to the back line and as my wife is now with child if she should be delivered of a Son and it should live my will and desire is that after my wiles death that Son shall have the aforesaid land & plantation but if my wife should be delivered of a Daughter my desire is that my Son JAMES PRICE shall have the said land & Plantation after his Mother's death.
Item Thirdly I give and bequeath to my son HUMPHREY PRICE all my land lieing between a Branch above my Plantation that runs into the River and another Branch that runs into the River below the Plantation whereon JOHN BARNHYSLE now lives from the head of the said branches the same course to the back line
Item Fourthly I give and bequeath to my son THOMAS PRICE the remainder of my track of land I now live on from the Branch below the Plantation whereon John Barnhysle now lives up to my uper corner on the River with the said Plantation whereon Barnhysle now lives.
Item Fifthly I leave three hundred and twelve acres lying on the Waters of BESSABELL RUN to be divided equally as followeth if my wife should be delivered of a Daughter that track of land to be equally divided among my other two daughters and the one so born but if it hapen my wife should a son so that my son James Price should not inherit the Plantation whereon I live my desire is that my son James should have an Equal part of the aforesaid land with his two sisters ANN PRICE and MARY PRICE to be divided among them three and he to have first choice in the lands
Item Sixthly I leave my negro man Peter to be sold and the money for which he shall sell to be equally divided among my sons.
Item Seventhly I leave my stocks of Horses, Cattle and Hogs & sheep for the support of my wife and childred and to be equally divided among my children as they come of age
Eighthly I leave my gun to my son Humphrey my household furniture and good I leave for the support of my wife and children and to be divided among my children after their Mothers death. Lastly I apoint SAMUEL SHORT and RICHARD THOMAS Executors of this my last Will and Testament to act and do for my Wife and children in the best way they can and receive all debts due to me and divide equally among my children acording to this my Will. I likewise leave a quantity of tar to be sold for money and the money divided among my children. In Witness whereof .. this twenty first of April 1758.

At Court held for County of Culpeper on Thursday the 16th of November 1758
This last Will and Testament of Kalem Price decd was exhibited to the Court by James Graves & was proved by the oaths of James Graves & John Wright two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. Richard Thomas one of the Executors therein named refused to take the burthen of the Execution thereof. At the same time Mary Price widow of the said decedent came into Court and renounced all benefit of the said Will chusing to accept of the Provision made her by Law.
And at a Court held for said County on Thursday the 19th of March 1761
On the motion of ALEXANDER BURK ( who has lately intermarried with the said Mary Price Widow & relict of the said Decedent) Certificate for obtaining Letters of Administration with the Will annexed is granted him he taking the oath and entered into Bond with security according to Law.

THIS INDENTURE made the Seventeenth day of April 1775 Between THOMAS PRICE of the County of Culpeper of one part and ALEXANDER BURK of the same County Witnesseth that said Thomas Price for the sum of Twenty pounds current money of Virginia hath granted unto said Alexander Burk his heirs Twenty five acres of land in County of Culpeper & Brumfield Parish and adjoining on Hughs's River being the land left to said Thomas Price by his Father in his last Will and Testament and the said Twenty five acres of land is bounded Beginning at the Mouth of a small branch the North side of Hughs's River and runing up the said Branch to a line of KELEM PRICE deceased with that line South to two white oaks that is Blowed Down on the bank of the said River above a Small Island and a Deep hole of Water in the River thence down the several courses of the said river to the first beginning place .. . . THIS INDENTURE made the 19th day of April in year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & Ninety by & between RICHARD PARKS & MARY his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and ROGER CAHILL of the County aforesaid of the other part; Wibesseth that RICHARD PARKS & MARY his Wife in consideration of the full & just sum of Forty pounds current money of Virginia to them paid by ROGER CAHILL, by these presents doth bargain & sell unto ROGER CAHILL his heirs one certain parcel of land containing One hundred & four acres lying in Culpeper County and Bromfield Parish in the GOURD VINE FORK of RAPPAHANNOCK RIVER, the same being part of Three hundred and Twelve acres of land granted unto WAUGH DARNEL & others agreeable to the Will of KALEM PRICE deced. by the right Honourable THOMAS LORD FAIRFAX, Proprietor of the Northern Neck in Virginia by Deed from the Proprietors Office bearing date the twenty third day of June one thousand seven hundred and seventy seven; the said One hundred & four acres is bounded Begining at two Pines on a Ridge, corner to MILLEY PRICE in JOHN HILLS he, and runs with MILLY PRICES line North ninety six pole to two red Oaks on a stony point, thence West one hundred and seventy eight poles to two Pines on a Ridge in the line of KALEM PRICE's Survey, thence with the line of that Survey South one hundred & six pole to three Pines on a Ridge, corner to JOHN HILLS Land, formerly Colo. THIS INDENTURE made the 21st day of October in the year of our Lord 1793 Betweene ROGER COHILL and REBECCAH his Wife of the County of Culpeper of one part and THOMAS POPHAM of the County aforesaid of other part; Witnesseth that ROGER COHILL and REBECCAH his Wife in consideration of the full and just sum of Fifty pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by THOMAS POPHAM by these presents doth bargain & sell unto THOMAS POPHAM his heirs one certain parcel of land containing One hundred and four acres be the same more or less by estimation situate in Cuipeper County and Bromfield Parish in the GOARD VINE FORK of RAPPAHANNOCK RIVER, the same being three hundred and twelve acres of land granted unto WAUGH DARNEL & other agreeable to the Will of KALEM PRICE deced., by the Right Honourable THOMAS LORD FAIRFAX, Proprietor of the Northern Neck in the State of Virginia by Deed from the Proprietors Office bearing date the 23d. day of June 1777, and the said hundred and four acres is bounded, Begining at two Pines on a Ridge, corner to MILLEY RICE in JOHN HILLS line, and runs with MILLEY RlCEs line North ninety six pole to two red Oaks on a Stoney Point, thence West 178 poles to two Pines on a Ridge in a line of KALEM PRICEs survey, thence with his line of that survey South 106 poles to three Pines on aRidge, corner to JOHN HILLS land, formerly Colo.
