In the name of God Amen. I CONSTANCE MAJOR of the County or Culpeper being weak of
body but of perfect and sound mind and memory blessed be God do this Twenty sixth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and sixty four make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say,
Imprimis I give to my Grandson PHILIP MAJOR the son of SAMUEL MAJOR deced one Heifer of three years old to be paid by my Excers. hereinafter named when he shall arrive to age.
Item I give to my son JOHN MAJOR one shilling Sterling.
Item I give to my Daughter JANE LOGGINS one shilling Sterling.
Item I give to my Daughter PRECILLA DILLARD one feather bed and furniture and after my just debts and funeral charges are paid and satisfied I further give to my said daughter Precilla all the rest and residue of my Estate of whatsoever kind and I do nominate and appoint my Son in Law GEORGE DILLARD and JOHN DILLARD my Grandson Executors of this my last Will and Testament .. to which I have set my hand and affixed my seal.

At a Court held for County of Culpeper on Thursday the 18th day of April 1765
This last Will & Testament of Constance Major decd was exhibited to the Court by GEORGE DILLARD and was proved by the Oaths of THOMAS HUTCHINS one of the witnesses thereto
And at a Court held for the said County on Thursday the 20th day of June 1765
The said Will was further proved by the oath of John Latham another witness thereto & ordered to be recorded and on the motion of the sd George Dillard Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form he having sworn to the same & given bond & security as the Law directs, Liberty being reserved for John Dillard Grandson to the said Decedent to joyn in the Probat when he shall think fit.
