30 Sept. 1759. 28 Feb. 1760.
"Very sick and weak in bed." To son, Henry Bradford, 206 acres of land that I now live on; unborn child to have one-half of the 206 acres. To daughter, Ann Bradford, one slave. Wife, Mary Bradford, to have use of estate, both real and personal. Exrs: wife and Daniel Bradford (brother), Wit: Alexander Bradford, Henry Rector, Lazarus Taylor. (p. 8)

THIS INDENTURE made the twenty third day of October in the twenty third year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the second and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty nine Between JOHN RICTOR of the County of Prince William of one part and HENRY RICTOR of the same of other part Witnesseth that the sd JOHN RICTOR for the sum of Fifteen pounds Currant money of Virginia doth grant unto the said HENRY RICTOR and his heirs & assigns a parcel of land containing One hundred acres it being the land whereon the said HENRY RICTOR now dwells being part of a greater tract of land purchased by the said JOHN RICTOR of THOMAS CHATTIN which said land in the County of Prince William aforesaid and bounded beginning at a red Oak Spanish Oak and box Oak on a hill side in the line of GEORGE ADAMS lately run and extending So. Et. to a Spanish Oak and small red Oak thence running So. Wt. to four small red Oaks in the head of a Valley thence running No. WI to a white Oak Spanish Oak corner to GEORGE ADAMS on a hillside near GOOSE CREEK thence with his line No. Et. to the first station Together with all houses and premises belonging all which premises now are in the actual possession of him the said HENRY RICTOR by virtue of an Indenture for one clay and by Virtue of the statute for the transferring of uses into possession To Have and To Hold the said parcel of land unto the said HENRY RICTOR his heirs & assigns. In Witness whereof the said JOHN RICTOR hath set his hand and Seale in presence of JOS. BLACKWELL, JOHN RICKTOR
