      Indenture made July 21, 1761; Herbert Wallis, William Wallis and James Wallis, planters of Frederick County, Maryland in consideration of 50 pounds current money of Maryland and also 2000 pounds weight of tobacco paid by Ebsworth Bayne, planter of PGCo, has sold tracts called "Leeds and Chance" containing 100 acres and lying on the south side of a fresh run called Oxen Run; "Leeds Addition" containing 60 acres and lying on the south side of Oxen Run and bounded on the first boundary of land surveyed for George Athey called "Leeds", the north line of Giles Blizzard's land; "Chance" containing 31 acres and beginning at "Leeds Addition"; Signed Herbert Wallis, William Wallis and James Wallis in the presence of and acknowledged before John Contee, John Cooke and at the same time Eleanor Wallis w/o Herbert Wallis and Susannah Wallis w/o William Wallis relinquished their right of dower {Wallis is spelled more frequently as Wallace}

Oct 10, 1780 from William Wallace Jr, late of M, to Francis Clements, son of Jacob, of M, for 3000 £, part of a tract of land called Brothers Industry, being part of 200 acres formerly conveyed to my father, William Wallace, who, by his will, gave to my brother James, 100 acres of sd tract. The remaining 400 acres I, the sd Wallace, sell to sd Clements, bounded by a branch that makes into Captain Johns Run, and known by the name of Booths Run, containing and laid out for 400 acres.
