      Know all Men by these Presents, that we Sarah Lattimore, Bertrand Ewell, and George Calvert Jun. are held and firmly bound to Henry Lee, James Scott clerk, John Hooe and Lewis Reno,, Gent. Justices of the Court of Prince William County, now sitting, in the sum of five hundred pounds. Payment whereof well and truly to be made to the said Justices, and their Successors, we bind ourselves, and each of us, our and each of our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents. Sealed with our Seals, this twenty sixth day of May in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and sixty and in the First Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE, the Third.
      The Condition of this Obligation is such, That if the above bound Sarah Lattimore, Executrix of the Last Will and Testament of John Lattimore deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of the said Deceased, which have, or shall come to the Hands, Possession, or Knowledge of her the said Sarah Lattimore or into the Hands or Possession of any other Person or Persons for her and the same so made, do exhibit into the County Court of Prince William at such Time as she shall be thereunto required by the said Court; and the same Goods, Chattels and Credits, and all other the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of the said Deceased, which at any Time shall come to the Hands, Possession, or Knowledge of the said Sarah Lattimore or into the Hands and Possession of any other Person or Persons for her do well and truly administer according to Law; And further do make a True and Just Account of her Actings and doings therein, when thereunto required by the said Court; and also well and truly pay and deliver all the Legacies contained and specified in the said Testament, as far as the said Goods, Chattels and Credits, will thereunto extend, and the Law shall charge: Then this Obligation to be void and of none Effect, else to remain in full Force and Virtue.

      THIS INDENTURE made the thirteenth and fourteenth day of August in the Eleventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Second and in the year of our Lord 1740 Between JOHN LATTIMORE SENR of Hamilton Parish & County of Prince William Planter of one part and JOHN LATTIMORE JUNR. of the Parish & County aforesaid of other part Wittness that said JOHN LATTIMORE for sum of two thousand pounds of tobacco paid unto him ye said JOHN LATTIMORE SENR. by ye said JOHN LATTIMORE JUNR. and of ye sum of five shillings lavfull money of England to ye said JOHN LATTIMORE in hand paid by said JOHN LATTIMORE ye weight of he doth hereby acknowledge hath sold unto ye said JOHN LATTIMORE in his actual possession now being by vertue of a bargin & Sale to him made for one yeare and by force of ye Statute for Transferring uses into possessions and his heirs and assigns all that track of land being in the County of Prince William being fifty acres of land and being part of a certain track of land which I bought of THOS. FURR bounded as followeth Runing along WILLIAM FURRs line and from thence along THOS. FURRs line and thence along ye out line that I bought of THOS. FURR thence ye said fifty acres of land to be maid up next to my Plantation ye said fifty acres of land now in the occupation of ye sd JOHN LATTIMORE JUNR.       THIS INDENTURE made the Eleventh and Twelfth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & forty Nine Between RICHARD YOUNG of the County of ORANGE & HENRY SMITH of the County of STAFFORD of the one part & JOHN LATIMORE SENR. of the said County of STAFFORD Witnesseth that the said RICHARD YOUNG & HENRY SMITH for the sum of Twenty pounds Current money of Virginia have sold unto said JOHN LATIMORE (in his actual possession now being by virtue of a bargain & sale for one year & by force of the statute for transferring uses into possession) & to his heirs & assigns all that parcell of land in the Parish of Hamilton in County of Prince William being granted to said RICHARD YOUNG & HENRY SMITH the Twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord MDCCXLII & bounded beginning at a red Oak by a Branch & runing with the line of JOHN PNEY( ?) No. to another red Oak by a PATH side thence S. W. to a white Oak in Capt. ROBT. JONES's line thence with his line SW to a small red Oak in the said line by a small branch thence SE to a Pine on a level thence SE to a white Oak by a ROAD thence to the beginning containing Two hundred & Seventy three acres Together with all houses and appurtenances whatsoever belonging To Have and To Hold unto the said JOHN LATIMORE his heirs & assigns forever.       KNOW YE that the true meaning of this Deed is that RICHARD YOUNG & HENRY SMITH by these presents is only obliged to warrant the within mentd. tract of land as Follows Vizt. if ever it should so happen that all or any part of the sd land should be taken away by any elder Survey or Deed that they shall oblige themselves & their heirs to pay to the said JOHN LATIMORE or his heirs so much money back in proporiton to what he gave for the said land as shall be taken away

      THIS INDENTURE made the Seventh day of May one thousand seven hundred and Sixty one Between BERTRAND EWELL of the County of Prince William of one part and EDMOND JENNINGS of the said County of other part Witnesseth that said BERTRAND EWELL for the yearly rents and Covenants on the part of the said EDMOND JENNINGS to be paid and performed hath granted to Farm lett unto said EDMOND JENNINGS all that parcel of land containing one hundred acres in the County of Prince William and Parish of Dettingen joyning the lands of Mrs. MARGARET YOUNG, Mr. ALLAN MACRAE, the lands leased to JOHN LATTIMORE and the BEAVERDAM RUN including the houses and Plantation with leave to get any Timber or firewood for the Plantations use of any other the said EWELLs lands not leased out. To Have and To Hold the said land to the said EDMOND JENNINGS during the natural lives of said EDMOND JENNINGS and his Wife CATHERINE and for the life of the longest liver of them paying yearly Five hundred pounds of tobacco and Cask with the quitrents and taxes of the said land on or upon the first day of January every year and if it be unpaid upon the first day of February then it shall be lawfull for said BERTRAND EWELL to reenter and have again and the said EDMOND JENNINGS his heirs and assigns shall not committ any waste upon the premises nor sell any of the wood In Witness whereof the parties have set their hands and seals

WILLIAM TEBBS extending back to the OLD ROAD from the Creek to Mr, YOUNGs including the House and cleared Ground with Leave to any Timber or firewood for the Plantation use of any other the said EWELLs lands not leased out at time the timber shall be wanting in Lieu of which said BERTRAND EWELL have liberty to get Timber from any of the said One hundred acres of land here leased out To Have and To Hold the said land unto the said JOHN JENNINGS during the Natural lives of the said JOHN JENNINGS and SUSANNAH JENNINGS and during the life of the longest liver of them paying yearly unto BERTRAND EWELL his heirs and assigns the yearly rent of Five hundred pounds of Tobacco and Cask with the Quit rents and taxes on or upon the first day of January in every year and if said rent and taxes be behind upon the first day of February then it may be lawfull for said BERTRAND EWELL into the said premises to reenter and the same to have again And said JOHN JENNINGS shall not commit any waste upon the said premises nor sell or dispose of any of the wood. Susannah - 2 cows & calves and the youngest of my mare Colts - Item I give to my Dau. .3 negroes - all my Cash and the rest of my Estate not before mentioned - it is my will that all my Estate be kept together for 3 years to raise cash to pay off my debts that my wife if living and my Dau. Susannah have the whole management of my Estate
      wife: the whole of my Estate during her natural life, then in 3 years after her decease, then my Dau. Susannah pay off every Legacy & Debts before given by me - I also desire that no appraisement be made of Estate but be divided as I. have before directed
