      THIS INDENTURE Tripartite made the fifth day of February in the first year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland, King, Defender of the faith &c., Between JAMES TAYLOR of KING and QUEEN County, Gent. and [blank] his Wife of the first part, GEORGE SEATON, Son and Heir of HENRY SEATON and ELIZABETH his Wife, now the Wife of AUGUSTINE MOORE, of KING WILLIAM County Gent. of the second part and AUGUSTINE MOORE of the third part Witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fourteen pounds, fifteen shillings of good and lawfull money of Great Britain to JAMES TAYLOR by the said AUGUSTINE MOORE [for and in behalf of said GEORGE SEATON, party to these presents], in hand well and truly paid the receipt whereof JAMES TAYLOR doth acknowledge, and also in consideration of the sum of five shillings of like money of Great Brittain by AUGUSTINE MOORE for himself and of his own proper money to JAMES TAYLOR in hand likewise paid the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and for divers other good causes and considerations him hereunto moveing, JAMES TAYLOR hath and by these presents doth bargain sell and release unto AUGUSTINE MOORE [in his actuall possession now being by force and virtue of one Indenture of bargain and sale and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession] and to his heirs all that tract of land containing by estimation twelve hundred and eighty acres be the same more or less situate on both sides of EAST NORTH EAST RIVER in Parish of Saint George and County of Spotsylvania, Beginning [the description of the bounds of the land are repeated as in the Lease above], To have and to hold the tract of land before mentioned to and for the several uses and purposes hereafter mentioned, [that is to say] in the first place to and for the use of GEORGE SEATON, party to these presents, and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default or failure of such heirs then to and for the use of LUCY MOORE, Daughter of said AUGUSTINE MOORE, party to these presents, and ELIZABETH his Wife and the heirs of the body of the said LUCY lawfully begotten and for default of such heirs then to and for the use of THOMAS MOORE, Son of AUGUSTINE MOORE and ELIZABETH his Wife and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default or failure of such heirs to the use of BARNARD MOORE, Son of the said ELIZABETH and AUGUSTINE MOORE and the heires of his body lawfully begotten and for default of such heires then to the proper use of AUGUSTINE MOORE his heires and to no other use or purpose, provided furthermore and it is hereby declared and agreed by the parties to these presents that it shall be law-full for GEORGE SEATON or his heires and to and for any other person or persons in whom is vested the tract of land herein before granted is hereby limitted as aforesaid and shall at any time hereafter be lawfully vested, In Witness whereof the said parties first above named have to these presents set their hands and seals the day and year first above written

Co. to his son, Augustine Moore, Junr., and in case of the death of the sd. Augustine, Junr., without children, then to his sons, Bernard and Thomas Moore, afsd., the sd. Augustine, junr., dying without issue, the sd. Bernard and Thomas entered into possession of the sd. tract. Now, the sd. Thomas Moore for the sum of £360, pd. by the sd. Bernard, does convey to him all that moiety or half part of the Fork Tract devised sd. Thomas by his father, etc., containing 1855-1/4 a. in Spts. Co., etc. Frans.       Oct. 8, 1766. Thomas Moore of King Wm. Co. and Joanna, his wife, to Francis Meriweather of Spts. Co. Whereas sd. Moore being seized of a tract of 500 a. in Spts. Co. abt. March 18, 1761, bargained and sold the same to Nathaniel Pope of Louisa Co. for £250 curr., but before the sd. land was conveyed, the sd. Pope sold it to the sd. Meriweather, for 20,000 lbs. tob. The sd. Moore and wife, in consideration of the premises, etc., convey sd. 500 a. of land known as Rich Neck, which was devised the sd. Thomas, by the will of his father, Augustine Moore, Decd. Witnesses, Go. Weedon, Jno. Roane, 0. Towles, jr. April 6, 1767.
