KNOW ALL MEN by these prsents that I OSWALL WHALY for good and valuable consideration have and doe grant & make over unto WILLIAM LOYD his heires and assignes all that our Catle now at the ISLAND, that is to say, Five Cows, one two yeare old heiffer, one Steere, one Yearling, one heiffer neere two yeares old, and three calves, one sow and piggs; And all right and interest of my right in the cropp, in the said ISLAND Plantation; To have & to hold the said Catle hogs and all the rights and intrest in the crop of Corne and tobacco unto the said WILLIAM LOYD and his heires forever with warranty from the clayme of me and from my heires forever, and from clayme of any persons whatsoever as Witness my hand this 3d of August 1679 Witnesses thereunto JNO. - Whereas by Acte of Assembly, it is provided that each County shall be divided into several Precincts in each of which a Commissioner shall bee by the Court appointed to take a List of Tithables. It is therefore ordered by this Court that Capt. DAVID FOX his Precinct WHITE CHAPPELL Parrish in this County bee as followeth, vizt. Begining from his Dwelling House up to his Plantacon upon the Hills directly over to COROTOMAN RIVER, includeing the Plantacon where HENRY DAVIS lived and soe up the Branch of the sde. River to JOSIAS DRAPERS MILL, mining up the MILL SWAMP includeing ROBERT POLLARDs and OZWALD WHALEYs Plantacons up to HENRY MARSHALLs Plantacon leaveing it out soe downe to DEEP BOTTOM BRIDGE & along the Southeast side of DEEP CREEK to the mouth thereof & soe downe RAPPAHANOCK RIVER to the sde, FOX, his House as far as the COURTHOUSE, leaveing in ATTKINs Lande and to Mr. CHOWNING up RAPPAHANOCK RIVER side includeing all to his owne House
