      WHITLOCK, THOMAS, of Sittingbourne Parish, in the County of Rapp.
      To my sisters Sarah, Elizabeth and Katherine Rowzie my Seate of Land which my Father Mr Thomas Whitlock left me on ye North side of Rappa River equally to be divided amongst them when they come of ye age of Eighteene Yeares or day of Marriage which shall happen First to them and their heirs forever.
      To my loving brother Edward Rowzie my Cow.
      To my loving brother Lodowick Rowzie my Yearling

      ROWZIE, EDWARD, 26 December, 1674; 6 June, 1677.
      To son Edward Rowzie 400 acres of land lying at the head of Occapacie when he comes of age.
      To sons Lodowick Rowzie and John Rowzie my Land I now Live Upon to be Equally divided among them as they Come of Age.
      To my daughters Sarah Rowzie and Elizabeth Rowzie 1000 acres of land that lyeth in the Freshes of Rapp": River at the South side to be Equally divided between them when they Come of Age or When they are Married Well of them shall First Happen.
      To daughter Sarah Rowzie my Black Mare & all her Increase only the first Mare fole she brings I give unto my Daughter Elizabeth Rowzie & her increase.
      To wife Mary Rowzie a Horse the Choice of them wth She pleaseth & further it is my will that all my personall Estate be brought to an Appraisemt wthin foure Moneths after my decease the mare & Horse only excepted as aforesaid & my Estate to be prized in money Sterling my Debts & funerall expences first paid & then all my personall Estate to be equally divided between my Wife & Children according to Law.       Item My will is wth ye same exception of aforenamed that then my will be he shall have ye other third part him and his heirs forever

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JOHN ROWSIE of the County of Rappa Planter for a valuable consideration to me in hand already received wch I doe acknowledge sell and confirm unto THOMAS THATCHER of the County of GLOUCESTER Planter his heirs or assigns a tract of land conteining five hundred acres scituate and being on the South side of RAPPA RIVER in the Freshes neare unto the FALLS beginning in the Lower side of a tract of land containing One thousand six hundred sixty and eight acres granted to me the said ROWSIE by Pattent bearing date the 5th day of November 1673 beginning at a marked red Oake neare a sunken ground in the line of Capt. HAWKINS and runing along upon the said HAWKINS his line and upon the line of Capt. LAURENCE SMITH into the Woods according to the severall courses of my Pattent To have and to hold the said five hundred acres of land to the only use of the said THOMAS THATCHER his heirs or assigns wth all rights and hereditaments thereunto belonging in as full ample manner as is granted to me the said ROWZIE by Pattant, Furthermore I the said ROWZIE doe bind myself my heirs firmly by these presents that the said THATCHER his heirs or assigns shall at all times hereafter hold and enjoy the aforesaid premises without the deniall of me or any under me according to the force of my Pattent the said THATCHER paying and discharging the rents and services therein due Furthermore I the said ROWSIE doe bind myself my heirs to warrant the said land to the sd THATCHER his heirs forever from all persons whatsoever that shall or may hereafter lawfully claim any part or parcell thereof.       KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that we LODOWICK ROWZEE and JOHN ROWZEE and EDWARD ROWZEE of County of Rappa. for the consideration of Five thousand pounds of good sound merchantable Tobb and Caske well and truely to us in hand paid by THO: PARKER of said County do grant and by these presents have sold from us our heirs and Successors unto THO: PARKER his heirs the full compliment and quantitie of Fifty five acres of land lying in the County of Rappa. on South side of RAPPA RIVER on the Mane Creeke side comonly known by the name of OCCUPACEY CREEKE the sd Fifty five acres of land being part of a Devident of land bequeathed unto sd LODOWICK and JOHN ROWZEE by our Father, Mr. EDWARD ROWZEE, in his last Will & Testament and now in full and free tenure possession of us the sd LODOWICK ROWZEE and JOHN ROWZEE, the Fifty five acres of land by a true and lawful! survey made by a lawfull Surveyor beginith at a marked small red Oake close adjoining to their corner side of the clere ground of the Plantation of us the sd LODOWICK ROWZEE and JOHN ROWZEE whereon we now dwell and inhabitt and close on the Brim of the bank side of OCCUPACIE CREEKE and runing from thence East to a red Oake saplin, thence South East to a red Oake saplin, thence South West to a small white Oake by a great dead red Oake thence North West to a black Oake saplin, thence N. HARPER and runeth from sd Corner tree N.W. along the line of WM. HARPER to a marked red Oake by a Deepe branch side from thence over the said Deep Branch still keeping the same course alonge the same line to a marked Pockhickory that standeth on the further side of a Deep Branch that falleth into the abovesd small gutt or branch of OCCUPACY CREEK and runing from the sd Pock- hickory alonge the branch down the sd branch and into the abovesd small gutt or branch finally down the said branch including all the land between the sd branch and the aforemen coned line of WM.
