1211-1213. George Hinkle recorded commission 19 June 1765. To Thomas Beatty, Richard Simpson,
William Carmack and William Beatty,. Whereas George Hinkle is seized of a parcel called Longbottom, did
on 20 Nov. petition the court in writing to determine the metes and bounds, this commission was appointed
by John Darnall 7 Dec. 1764. In pursuance of the commission the following depositions were taken: Jason
Frizel, about 40 years of age, stated that 13 years past in the company of John Howard son of Gideon, who
was then a sworn surveyor ofFC, and they were riding on the south side of Israel's Creek, and the said John
Howard identified to the deponent a white oak as the beginning tree of a tract called Long Bottom." Taken
before Richard Simpson, William Carmack and William Beatty.
