      THIS INDENTURE made the fifteenth day of May in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty by and Between WILLIAM CORBIN and SARAH his Wife of County of Culpeper and Colony of Virginia of one part and PETER CORBIN, Son of said WILLIAM, of other part Witnesseth that WILLIAM CORBIN and SARAH his Wife for the full and just sum of three hundred and fifty pounds current money to them in hand paid by these presents doth bargain and sell unto PETER CORBIN his heirs and assigns one certain parcel of land containing Seventy five acres be the same more or less situate lying and being in Culpeper County and Bromfield Parish at the foot of the RAGED MOUNTAIN joining on HUGHES RIVER in the Great Fork of RAPPA-HANNOCK RIVER and the said land is bounded Begining at two Spruce Pines and a Poplar on the bank of HUGHES RIVER on the So. side thereof a corner to JAMES LILLARD runs thence with his line South twenty degrees West two hundred and forty two poles to two red Oaks and a chesnut Corner to THOMAS JINKINS, thence with his line So. sixty two degrees East One hundred and sixty pole to two white Oaks and a Hickory on a Stony Flat a corner to a dividing line Between said WILLIAM CORBIN and PETER CORBIN, thence with the said dividing line North bearing East to two white Oaks and a Maple on the bank of HUGHES RIVER thence up the several courses of said RIVER to the Begining place with all houses Orchards fences and profits to the same belonging To have and to hold the seventy five acres of land with the appurtenances unto PETER CORBIN his heirs and assigns In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have interchangeable hereto set their hands and fixd their Seals the day and year first above written in the presence of us

JOSEPH JAMES of County and Colony aforesaid of other part Witnesseth that WILLIAM CORBIN and SARAH his Wife for the full and just sum of Three hundred pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by these presents do bargain and sell unto said JOSEPH JAMES his heirs and assigns one certain piece or parcel of land containing Fifty acres situate lying and being in Culpeper County and Bromfield Parish at the foot of the RAGED MOUNTAIN in the Great Fork of RAPPAHANNOCK RIVER ajoyning the HUGHES RIVER and bounded Begining at two white Oaks on South side of HUGHES RIVER Corner to said JOSEPH JAMES and running thence with his line South twenty degrees East One hundred and thirty eight pole to a white Oak and forked Poplar on a Branch of LANDRUMS RUN thence No. Sixty one degrees West sixty pole to a white Oak a Locust and Maple on THOMAS JINKINS SPRING BRANCH thence No. twenty five degrees East One hundred and thirty seven pole to a Spanish Oak awhile Oak and a Poplar on the bank of HUGHES RIVER thence down the several courses of said to the begining place with all houses orchards profits to the same belonging To have and to hold the tract of fifty acres of land and premises unto JOSEPH JAMES his heirs and assigns forever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have interchangeably hereto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written
