I think Ann's husband may be Joseph BLOXAM for the following reason:

I think the husband of Ann Stephens was possibly named Joseph Bloxam.

I am working on this family and trying to find the relationship between Ann Suit and Joseph Stephen/Stevens who may be Ann Bloxam's brother. I found this link on genealogy.com that names them: http://www.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/ifa_image.cgi?IN=002867&PN=70&SEC=Marylan d%20Records%2C%20Volume%20II&CD=521

It is dated Sept 29,1742 and here is an excerpt from the page:

      32. A) Sept. 29, 1742, B) Joseph Bloxam (C)97; (D) Robert Slye Wood; E 0-II-3; (F) 2-5-0 Fines pd.; (L) Ann Bloxam and Joseph Stephens; (M) Ann 45, Joseph 43.

I am not sure what this means, but it may signify that her husband was "Joe" Bloxam and not named Blackman.

I am trying to find out who Ann Suit is that is listed in Joseph "Stephen" estate (1775). I think she is Ann Bloxam, --maybe widowed?? A woman named "Ann Suit" is listed as one of the NOK along with a Thomas Payne for Joseph Stephen.

      RE:
ANN SUIT OF ST. MARY'S CO., MD.

Jan. 1775 - Ann Suit and Thomas Payne are next of kin in the St. Mary's Co., Md. inventory of Joseph Stephen.

Comment: This is the Joseph Stephens/Stevens whose will may be found at Maryland Calendar of Wills, Vol. 16, p. 89.
