To wife Mary Ford, my dwelling plantation as far as Wicapimisco Run and as far as my paster fence goes in the land I bought of John Will Coxon; also her thirds.
To son Richard, Negro girl Beck, furniture.
To two grandchildren: Peter and John Jarrat Ford, the sons of Bennett Ford, late of St Mary's co., deceased, 2 Negro children, John and Anne, cow, furniture to be given at age 18.
Remainder of estate to be divided between my three children. Peter, John and Persilia.
To 2nd son Richard Ford, the plantation where he now lives to a marked Red Oak in the line between Thomas Spalding and me on the hill side..., known as "St Giles."
To third son, John Ford all remaining part of 'St Giles."
To son John Ford, the plantation where he now lives called the "May Pole,' 96 a. Also my dwelling plantation after my wife's death.
To my two grandsons. Peter Ford, John Jarratt Ford, tract I bought of John Willcoxon called 'Mount Pleasant," 100 a.
