- ELIZABITH GRANT being presented by the Grand Jury for having a bastard Child and she appearing in Court and confessing her fornication; Whereupon it is considered by the Court and accordingly ordered that she pay to the Churchwardens of HANOVER Parish the sum of fifteen pounds currt. money with cost or otherwise she be sold by the Churchwardens for the term of Five years after her time of Servitude by Indenture & Custom are otherwise be expired
