I Robert Cross, planter in consideration of 828 pounds of crop tobacco, 14 pounds 15 shillings current money of Maryland paid by Sarah Lamar has sold 1 gray gelding, 1 black mare, 4 cows, 2 yearlings and all my tobacco and corn whether in the field or elsewhere; provided nevertheless that if Robert Cross shall well and truly pay unto Sarah Lamar the aforesaid sums of money and tobacco on or before January 14, 1763 then this bill of sale.
