To wife Elizabeth Chesley, use of all my lands in St Mary's Co.
To son Chesley, 20 pounds sterling, Negro Bob.
To dau. Elizabeth Pile, mulatto woman now in her possession named Beck and 5 pounds sterling.
To son John Chesley after my wife's decease, all lands I possess in St Marys Co.,viz., tract called "Crockburne, 350 acres, tract called 'Crockburns Marsh," 17 ½ acres, and tract called "Crockburns Swamp, 17 ½ acres; also "Crockburns Island," 13 acres; tract called Hard Fortune,' 62 acres; part of tract called 'Indian Creek with Addition," 36 acres; part of another tract called "Canoe Neck," 17 ½ acres. If he die without issue then to son James Chesley and if he dies without heirs then to son Alexander Chesley.
Remainder of estate after wife's thirds to my six children by my present wife, named John, James, Elizbeth, Mary, Alexander and Rebecca.

Will of Elizabeth Chesley, widow, SMC, 12/3/1773-4/4/1785.
Son: John Chesley, the gold watch that belonged to his father.
Son: Thomas Chesley, 250 pounds sterling at the age of 21. If he dies before that time, to be divided between my children, Alexander Chesley, Elizabeth Chesley, Mary Chesley, Rebecca Chesley, and Ann Chesley.
Late Husband: John Chesley did not make provisions for his daughter, Ann Chesley, and his son, Thomas Chesley. I think it is incumbent on me to supply that defect in his will.
I, therefore, give my daughter, Ann Chesley, one equal moiety or one half
part of the residue and remainder of my estate to be paid to her at the age
of 16 or day of marriage. The other one half part of the balance of my
estate is to be paid to my son, Thomas Chesley, at the age of 21.
