      Charles County Land Records 1786-1790; Liber D#4; Page 76. Mar 29, 1787 from Basil Hickey of Loudoun County, Virginia and James Collins (Collings) Jr of Prince George's County, to Thomas Leach of CC, planter, for 5000 lbs of neat tobacco and 14 £, all that tract of land in CC called the Hazzard, adjoining to a tract of land called the Black Oak Thicket, bounded by a fork between 2 branches, Hollyday's land, containing about 35 acres. Signed - Basil Hickey, James Collins Jr. Wit - Fielder Bowie, Robt Bowie. This deed was acknowledged in Prince George's County by Basil Hickey and James Collins; Elizabeth Christian Hickey, wife of sd Hickey, relinquished her right of dower to the within mentioned land.
