      My plantation called "White Haven" is to be divided (see will for markers). (Mentions the land where James Plummer lives and that his property adjoins "Mt. Misery.")
      Grandson: Bennet Howard, my dwelling plantation being part of "White Haven" after the death of his grandmother. Elizabeth Howard, and the death of his father, Joseph Howard.
      Granddaughter: Ann Johnson, the remaining part of "White Haven" and "Blindman Chance" after the death of her grandmother, Elizabeth Howard, and her mother, Mary Johnson.
      Daughter: Jane Howard, my dwelling plantation called "Heard's Purchase" after the death of her mother. Elizabeth. She is also to receive the rent from the place where my son, Joseph Howard. now lives in case it's rented out and to have her choice of one of the young negroes after the death of her mother. She is to be prudent and obedient to her mother. In the event of her death without heirs, my plantation is devised to my grandsons, Richard Johnson and Joseph Johnson. but their mother. Mary Johnson, shall have her life in the same. Neither may sell any of this property except to each other. If my daughter. Jane Howard, dies, she should will this property to her sister. Elizabeth Thompson. if she should be a widow.
      Son: Joseph Howard. one milled shilling.
      Daughter: Mary Johnson, one milled shilling.
      Daughter: Elizabeth Thompson, one milled shilling.
      Wife: Elizabeth Howard. all of my real estate during her life and all of my personal estate except the negro devised to my daughter. Jane Howard, on the condition she remain a widow. If she marries, my personal estate is to be divided into four parts. One part to the children of my son. Joseph Howard; one part to the children of my daughter, Mary Johnson; one part to the children of my daughter, Elizabeth Thompson; and one part to my daughter, Jane Howard. My grandson. Bennet Howard, and my granddaughter, Ann Johnson, are excepted.
