I, Jane Contee of the town and county of Alexandria in the District of Columbia;
To my slaves; Monaca, Nell, Anney & William, daughters and son of the aforesaid Monaca, also Weston Hamilton and Philip Hamilton the sons of the aforesaid Nell, their full and absolute freedom.
To John Contee and Richard Alexander Contee, the sons of my brother Richard Alexander Contee, 1 guinea each.
To Matilda Margaret Snowden Sanders, Enoch Marguder and Richard Alexander Contee Magruder, the daughter and sons of my sister Ann Magruder, 1 guinea each.
To sister Elizabeth Keith, my half tract of land in Charles County Maryland, and conveyed to us jointly by our father …. (faded illegible writing was inserted between the line, but seems to suggest that after her death to her children ) …John Contee Keith, Elizabeth Contee Keith, Margaret Snowden Keith, Jane Ann Contee Keith and Catharine Contee Keith, the son and daughters of my sister.
To Elizabeth Contee Keith, Margaret Snowden Keith, Jane Ann Contee Keith and Catharine Contee Keith, the rest and residue of my estate.
