Dec 22, 1788 from David Lindsey Ward of CC, to Henry Barnes, Esq. of CC, for 1000 £sterling money of Great Britain, the tracts hereafter described (except only 100 acres of a tract of land, being part of a tract called Ingerthorp, granted by the sd David Lindsey Ward on Aug 8, 1769 to James Scott and Livianner, his wife, during their natural lives, remainder to David Scott, son of the above named James Scott and Livianner, his wife, and his heirs lawfully begotten, remainder to Zerecia Ward and her heirs forever, as by CC deed dated as above), to wit, part of a tract of land called Ingerthorp and all that tract of land called Ingerstone, both lying in CC, adjoining each other and bounded by the edge of Wards Run, a tract of land called French Lewis, containing and now laid out for about 361 acres.
