Bequeaths to:
1. Osborn Brashears --son
-to have Negro woman "Criss" and no more of the estate
2, Margery Jenkins --daughter
-to have Negro woman "Hannah" and no more of the estate
3. Lucy Cross --daughter
-to have Nero girl "Sarah"--not yet delivered
4. Jeremiah Brashears--son
to have the sum of 5 shillings current money
5. Belt Brashears --son
-to have a tract of land called "Beall's Gift" beginning at the end of the 1st line of the
tract or parcel of land called "Orphan's Gift" and running north west - - - until it intersects the given line of the tract of land thence.. cont. 150 acres
-to have another tract or parcel of land being part of " Belt's Discovery," cont. 20 acres and to have another parcel of land called "Huckleberry Slipe" cont. 7 1/2 acres
6. Elizabeth Brasbear --daughter
-to have Negro girl "Nell"
-to have I cow and calf, and feather bed and furn. 1 ewe and lamb and no more of the estate

Indenture made August 8, 1768; Jeremiah Brashear in consideration of 187 pounds 10 shillings sterling money paid by Joseph Brashear has sold 150 acres being the southernmost part of a tract called "Bells Gift" {recorded as "Beales Gift"} and being in the draught of the Western branch beginning at the end of the first line of "Orphans Gift". Signed Jeremiah Brashear in the presence of and acknowledged before Thomas Williams, Richard Duckett, Jr. and at the same time Easter Brashear the now wife of Jeremiah Brashear relinquished her right of dower

Indenture made December 18, 1769; Jeremiah Brashears in consideration of 150 acres of land part of a tract called "Bealls Gift" has exchanged by these presents unto Joseph Brashears 97 ½ acres of land being part of "Bealls Gift" and beginning at the end of the second line of "Bealls Gift" together with all the right and title that he now has or ever hereafter may have to the dwelling plantation and his father Samuel Brashears now lives on by any kind of gift from him.
