      WILL OF HENRY BOTELER Prince George's County Maryland Liber T-1, Pages 565-566 1 March 1802 In the name of God Amen.
      I Henry Boteler of Saint Pauls Parish in Prince George's County in the State of Mayland being of sound mind memory and understanding through the mercy of God do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following: First I resign my Soul with the utmost humility into the hands of Almighty God my Creator. Hoping for Salvation throught the merits and mediation of my Blessed Saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ. And my body I desire may be decently buried by my Executor hereafter named and as follows viz:
      Item I give devise and bequeath to beloved son Reazon Drury Boteler all that part or parcell of a tract of land called Sasscers Green my part cont'g forty one acres and threee quarters of an acre of Land be the same more or less to him and his heirs and assigns forever, and in case my son Reazon should die without lawfull issue then my will and desire is that the af'sd part or parcell of a tract of Land called Sasscers Green to be equally divided between my two sons Levin and Henry Lingan Boteler to them and their heirs and assignees forever.
      Item I give devise and bequeath to my son Henry Lingan Boteler the choice of one Negro only out of my Negroes to him and heirs and assignees forever. Item I give devise and bequeath all the residue of my Negroes, stock of all kinds, household furniture and every thing I possess of what nature or kind soever to be equaly divided between my two sons and daughter, Reazon Drury Boteler, Levin, and Catherine Boteler to them and their heirs and assignees forever.
      Item my will and desire is tht my son Reazon should pay to my daughters Elizabeth Tory, Eleanor Johns, Mary Price, Else Pike, and Christian Moodie one shilling apiece if they will accept it.
      And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my beloved son Reazon Drury Boteler sole and whole Executor of this my Last Will and hereby revoking disannulling and making void all other wills and bequests heretofore by me made and do declare this only to be my Last Will & Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this 1st day of March in the year of our Lord 1802.       on the 19th day of January 1804 came Benjamin Garner and Michael Michael Garner Garner two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last Will and Testament and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that they did see henry Boteler the Tesatator herein named Sign and Seal this Will and heard him publish, pronounce, and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of Sound and disposing mind memory & understand and that they together with henry Estep respectively subscribed their names as witnesses thereto in presence of the Testator at his request and in the presence of each other.
