      At the request of Joseph Hagan the following Deed of Gift was recorded September 2, 1807
      Indenture made August 21, 1807; between Eleanor Jameson of the one part and Joseph Hagan of the other part. Witnesseth that Eleanor Jameson in consideration of the natural love and affection she hath for Joseph Hagan as also for the entire maintenance support and livelihood of her hath transferred unto Joseph Hagan 1 cow, 1 heifer, 1 horse, 1 feather bed, sheet and quilt, 1 iron pot and $525 current money of the United States. Nevertheless, Joseph Hagan will also contribute on half of the expense arising towards maintenance and support of Mary Dant, now a minor about 10 yrs.
