      TO ALL TO WHOM this present writing shall come Know ye that I THOMAS BLAND of Prince William County for divers good reasons but especially for the love and good will I have towards my Daughter, NANCY HARDING, Wife of GEORGE HARDING of STAFFORD County, by these presents do freely give and grant unto said NANCY HARDING her heirs a certain Negro boy named Peter and by these presents do warrant and defend unto the said NANCY HARDING, In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five
