    • 1699-1709 Stafford County, Virginia Deed & Will Book; [Antient Press]; Page. 245-247 At a Court held for Stafford County 8th day of Novemr. 1704 This Indenture made the 24th day Augt. 1703 between JOHN NEAVET SENR. of St. Marys County in Province of Maryland Bro. to RICHARD NEAVET late of Stafford County in Virga. deced, JNO. NEAVET JNR. of the same county, Son to the said John Neavet & heir at law to the afsd Richd. Neavet deced of the one part and DANL. WOOLAMS of county Stafford .. Witnesseth in consideration of the sum Twenty eight pounds Sterl. .. sold unto Danl. Woolams a certain parcel of land lying in county Stafford unto Richd. Neavet late of said county granted by deed from proprietors of Northern Neck their agents bearing date 23d day May 1695 from him devolving upon John Neavet Sent. Brother of aforesaid Richd., Jno. Neavet Junr. Son to said John containing 449 acres bounded .. be-ginning at the head of a branch called Burbiges Creek at a white oak & running then E=176 poles over the main road to an hiccory by the White Marsh thence N & by E=380 poles to a red oak & a poplar thence W=184 poles to a great pine upon a still thence S & by W 394 poles to the branch on which it began by a small gum thence up the said Branch E=4 degrees N=21 poles to the first beginning ..

      Whereas we John Nevet Senr. & John Neavet Junr. both of St. Marys County in Province of Maryland have sold to Danl. Woolams of Stafford County all our Right & title of a parcel of land lying in Stafford County 449 acres formerly granted to Richd. Neavett late deced .. Know ye we .. do depute and impower our trusty & well beloved friend Mr. Edwd. Barton of Stafford County to acknowledge in our names the deed of sale .. 25th Augt. 1703.

(blank) McMillian of Ann Arundel County .. authorize & impowcr John Waugh & FRANCIS COFER of Stafford County in Colony of Virginia or either of them to acknowledge 449 acres of land lying in Stafford County beginning at the head of Burgesses Creek .. (land further described as above) ., unto Eliza. McMillion of Charles County in Province of Maryland Widow .. after her decease to George & John McMillion sons of Eliza McMillian .. 4th March 1705.
