I, Joseph Jeamson of CC, Gent, am sick and weak of body but
of sound and perfect memory.
To my son John Jeamson - 25 £as I lent him.
To my daughters Mary Smallwood & Margaret Swan - 10 shillings
each.
To my wife Anne Jameson and my children, viz, Benjamin
Jeamson, Leonard Jamson, Henry Jeamson, Elizabeth
Jeamson, Anne Jeamson, Moneckie Jeamson, Martha
Jeamson, Henarita Jeamson - all my personal estate, to
be equally divided between. Also, all my lands as I now
live on, my wife is to hold during her life, and my afd
5 daughters, Elizabeth, Anne, Moneckie, Martha,
Henereta, to live on sd lands until they are married or
die. If any of my afd daughters marry, then to go off
and have no further claim to any part living n sd
land.
If my land is forced to be sold to clear the Encumbrance
that is now on it, then the money that arises
on the sale of sd land above what elers the sd
Encumbrance, to be equally divided between my wife and
children. If my 3 sons shall clear sd lands, then I give the
land afd, to be equally divided between them; they are not
to disturb their mother during her life, nor their sisters
until marriage or death, and my land is not to be divided
until my youngest son Henry comes to age 18.

Probated on Feb 28, 1781 by the oaths of executor Benjamin
Jameson and witnesses McPherson and Jameson. John Jameson,
the heir at law, was present at the taking of the above
probate. Anne Jameson, the widow, renounced the will and the
execution thereof.

I, Benjamin Jameson of CC, being weak in body but of perfect sound mind, memory and understanding;
To sister Heneritta Jameson, negro Eliza.
To brother Leonard Jamesson and sisters Ann Jameson, Heneritta Jameson and Martha Sheirburn, the balance of my property making at the same time a childs part of my property already given, which I now give unto the heirs of my deceased sister Mary Smallwood.
To negro Floro, to serve as slave two years from this date and then freed.

Whereas Joseph Jameston, on Mar 26, 1774, executed his will, and among other gifts, he bequeathed as follows - if my land is forced to be sold to clear the encumbrances that are now on it then the money that arises on the sale of the afd land above what clears the sd encumbrances, is to be divided between my wife and children as follows - Benjamin Jameston, Leonard Jameston, Henry Jameston, Elizabeth Ann Monichie, Martha and Henrietta Jameston, and in case my 3 sons shall clear the land, then I give the lands afd, to be equally divided between Benjamin, Leonard, and Henry Jameston, forever. Now we, Leonard Jameston and Henry Jameston, knowing that our brother, Benjamin Jameston, has cleared all the encumbrances on our father's land, and that he is now about to convey the same to Benjamin Jameston Sr, we hereby renounce all right to the same.
