I, Willm Hemsley of Queen Annes County, administrator of the goods & chattels & credits of Mr. Philemon Hemsley, late of Anne arundel [County], deced, have appointed my trusty friend, Mr. Willm Rogers, late of the City of Annapolis, gent, my true and lawful attorney, jointly and severally to recover for me, all money & tobacco due to me as admr of my deced father, on the western side of Chesapeake Bay, & demand whatsoever they be, of all persons in any wise due to me, on the western side of Chesapeake Bay.
