      HULL, JOHN, 26 June, 1675 ; 2 May, 1677:
      Well in body & of good and proper memory.
      His debts to be paid by his executors Hereafter named.
      My son-in-law John Carter to be paid his five hundred pounds due him for his wives dower according to speciality but if it should so fall out that what monies and debts and merchantable goods will not pay it without disposing of my wife's plate and Jewels then part of my land to be sold to pay it,
      To my son John Carter and his wife each of them a ring of forty shillings price.
      To wife Elizabeth Hull all the plate and jewells I die possessed of.
      To son Roger Hull and his heirs forever all my land I die possessed of.
      To wife Elizabeth and son Roger all my monies goods and chattles I die possessed of equally to be divided between them. My will is that my loving wife Elizabeth Hull may have any of my plantations with the lands and houses belonging to the same that she will make choice of during her life and then return to my son Roger Hull or his heirs.

      IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen this 26th of June 1675 I JOHN HULL being well in body and of good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God & calling to remembrance the uncertainty of this transitory life & that all flesh must yeild unto death when it shall please God to call do make constitute and declare this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following & first being penitent and Sorry from the bottom of my heart for my Sinns past most humbly desireing forgiveness for the saime I give and commit my Soule to Almighty God my Saviour and redeemer in whom & by the merritts of Jesus Christ I trust and believe assuredly to be saved, & to have full remission & forgiveness of all my Sinns and that my Soule with my body at the general day of resurrection shall rise again with joy & through the merritts of Christ death and passion possess & inherit the Kingdom of Heaven prepared for his elect & chosen and my body to be buried where it shall please my Executrix hereafter named to appoint and now for the setling of my temporall Estate & such lands goods chattels & debts as it hath pleased God farr above my deserts to bestow upon me I do order and give and dispose the same in manner and forme following that is to say
      first I will that all those debts due to any manner of person or persons shall be well contented & paid by my Executrix hereafter named

RIVER on the North side of said River begining at the miles End of five hundred acres of Land now in the possession of one SILVESTER THACHER at a certain marked red Oak & so runing for length East into the woods to a marked Pocickery & from thence North to a Spanish Oak that devides the land of the abovemenconed SILVESTER THACHER & THOMAS WHITLOCK deced from thence West to marked Pocickery & Lastly South to the place where it first began the said Land being the moiety or half part of One thousand acres of land granted to SILVESTER THACHER by Pattent dated the Sixth day of October 1656 together with all profitts and appurtenances whatsoever To have the said premises unto the said JOHN HULL his heirs & assignes forever he paying the rents and services due and payable for the same & the said ALLEXANDER FLEMING for himself doth agree with said JOHN HULL that said JOHN HULL shall hereafter hold the above granted premises without trouble of the said ALLEXANDER FLEMING & further that the said ALLEXANDER FLEMING & ELIZA: his Wife will acknowledge all their right of the premises hereby granted in open Court to be held for the abovesaid County of Rappa.       The Condition of this present Instrument of Writing is such that if the above mentioned JAMES CAPLIN his heirs &c. shall well and truly pay and satisfie unto the said Mrs. ELIZABETH HULL Two thousand live hundred pounds of good tobacco and casque at or upon the last of December next ensuing this date wth convenience in the said County and Parish and alsoe shall civilly demesne and behave himselfe towards the said Mrs. ELIZABETH HULL her heirs &c wth out doing or procuring to be done any prjudice or harm either to her stock or hogs and cattle or whatsoever to her belonging during the time he shall continue in the said Plantacon whereon he now liveth that then this prsent obligation to be void and of none effect or else to stand and remain in full power and virtue according to the true intent and meaning hereof
