      PARKER, ROBERT, of the Parish of Sittenburne, in the County of Rappa plantr
      My wife to enjoy the home Plantation during her life but all my Land being Eight hundred Acres by Computation I give & bequeath unto my foure Children to each Two hundred Acres still Reserving to my wife the Plantation for her life then my son John to have his first Choice of Two hundred Acres which I give unto him & his heires forever so alsoe unto the other three Children save only if any of my three Daughters dye before Marriage or the Age of twenty their Parts of Land I give unto My Son & his heirs forever but if my sd son shall dye before he be of Age I give my Land to be Equally divided between my surviving Children to them and their heirs forever My Cattle I give to be Equally divided between my wife & my sd foure Children the Tobb I have I give to buy a Younge Negro my goods household stuff Mill & the Rest of my Estate I give unto my Loving wife Save only a Negroe to each of my Children after their Mothers decease.       - JOHN PARKER complaines agt. BENJA: STONE in a plea of Trespass for that Whereas the sd Plt is seized of a good absolute & indefeasible Estate of Inheritance in fee simple of in & to Two hundred acres of land scituate lying & being in ye Parish of CITTENBURN & County of Essex, wch: was given & devised to ye sd Plt. & his heirs forever in & by ye last Will & Testamt. of his Father, ROBT. PARKER deced, here in Court ready to be produced yet ye said Deft. not regarding ye sd Plts. seizin aforesd. & his undoubted right & Enheritance thereon on or about ye 8th day of Aprill 1700 into & and upon ye sd Two hundred acres of Land did with force & armes illegally enter & then & there did with like force fall & cutt down wast spoil & destroy seven Timber trees of the value of Thirty pounds Sterl, And then did & still doth comitt divers other great trespasses thereupon agst. ye peace of our Sovereign Lord ye King that now is And to ye Plt damage Fifty pounds Sterl: for which he hath brought his suit & prays Judgmt. with costs; To wch: ye Deft. for plea saith Not Guilty.       8 Aug. 1709. Eliza. Pley of St. Ann's Parish, Essex County, but lately called Eliza. Parker, to John Parker of same. For divers good causes and that Robert Parker, father of the said John, did by his last will bequeath unto him a Negro and having constituted Elizabeth executrix, and John not being paid.
      Water mill which she bought of Richard Gradner and Eliza his wife 10 March 1686.
      John Parker agree to pay unto Eliza. dureing her naturall life towards her support twenty barrells of corn and ten bushells of wheat over and above the consideration hereof.
      John Parker doth acknowledge to have received full satisfaction for all legacies left by the will of his father.

      3 April 1707. Bond of John Parker of Essex County unto Thomas Winslow and Ann his wife lately called Ann Parker of Essex County, John Watkins and Elizabeth his wife lately called Elizabeth Parker of King and Queen County, and Frances Parker of Essex County, single woman. For £500.
      To perform and obey the award and judgment of Colo. Richard Covington, Majr. James Boughan, Mr. Francis Gouldman and Mr. Robert Brooke, arbitrators to determine the difference depending in Essex County Court concerning the partition of 800 acres devised unto John, Anne, Elizabeth and Frances Parker by their father Robert Parker in his last will dated 15 Jan. 1686 in these words: My worldly estate I give and bequeath in the manner following, my wife to enjoy the house and plantation during her life, but all my land being 800 acres by computation I give and bequeath unto my four children to each 200 acres, still reserving to my wife the plantation for her life, then my son John to have the first choyce of 200 acres ... so likewise to the other three children.
      And if the arbitratrators shall put in writing no such award before 8 April, then John Parker shall abide by the judgment of Mr. Francis Moore, umpire.

Whereas divers controversies are depending between Thomas Winslow and Anne his wife lately called Anne Parker of Essex County, John Watkins and Elizabeth his wife lately called Elizabeth Parker of King and Queen County, and Frances Parker of Essex County, single woman, of the one party and John Parker of Essex County of the other party, for the determining whereof the parties are bound 3 April in sum of 1500 to arbitrate concerning the partition of 800 acres given John, Anne, Elizabeth and Frances Parker by their father Robert Parker in his last will 15 Jan. 1686/7, The 800 acres being two severall situations: in the forrest 400 acres formerly granted by patent to Thomas Pells ... east line near the plantation of Thomas Reynolds the other 400
      acres being that plantation whereon the testator lived We divide as follows: ... east side of the road ... Mr. Pley's spring branch ...
      John Parker made his choice of the lower part of that dividend whereon the testator died.
      Thomas Winslow and Anne his wife hold the lower part of that 400 acres in the forrest.
      John Watkins and Elizabeth his wife hold the other part of that devidend in the forrest.
      Frances Parker have the remaining part of that tract where John Parker hath made his election.
      Parties pay their own costs and to Salvator Muscoe for drawing the instruments of writing between them, 200 pounds of tobacco, and for James Boughan Junr. for surveying, 500 pounds

      Your deponent says that Thomas Jewell and his Mother before him has been twenty years about getting the land that was in Diferance between him and John Parker, and your Deponent went to Mr Gillson who sold the sd land to one Thomas Rawson w'oh the sd Thomas Jewell Claims from, and the sd Gillson told your deponent that the sd Jewell had right to but fifty acres and your Deponent says that the Land the said Thomas Jewell has taken away by a Survey from John Parker was the land that was in difference between Geo Jones and Robert Tomlin and that your Deponents Husband took possession of the said land in the behalf of Robt Tomlin the said Tomlin being sick at that time and that Thomas ffreshwater then Subsheriffe at that time who Delivered possession to yo'r Deponents Husband by the consent of the sd Tomlin and your Deponents Husband bought the said land of the sd Tomlin for sixty acres more or less and your Deponent further saith not"
