      Mary Ann Bowling, Will, December 22, 1838; February 12, 1839
      I, Mary Ann Bowling of CC, being sick and weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding;
      To eldest son John T. Bowling, 150 acres of land to be laid off to him out of the lands purchased by my deceased father John Boone, of a certain Richard Gregory of Prince George's County. Also 1 new feather bed, bedstead and furniture.
      To daughter Jane Amanda Bowling, 100 dollars.
      To granddaughter Elizabeth Mary Jane Wheatley, the sum of 40 dollars at 16 yrs.
      To grandson William Francis Cook, 50 dollars at 21 yrs.
      To youngest son John Francis Bowling, 1 bay horse.
      To daughters; Elizabeth Ann Bowling, Jane Amanda Bowling, Eizabeth Julia Bowling, Mary Susan Bowling and son John Francis Bowling, all the rest and residue of my estate both reall and personal.

      "being sound in mind and perfect in memory „ ,"
      Bequeaths to:
      1. Francis Boone - brother
      -to have the plantation whereon he now resides on the condition that testator's personal estate proves sufficient to pay all debts without it in whieh case the bond which testator holds of Francis for the payment of the said plantation shall be void and of no effect -to have the sum of 200 pounds
      -should there he any remaining of the estate to be divided into fifths and Joseph and Francis to have three fifths and the remaining two fifths to be divided between brothers Ignatius and John Boone
      2, Joseph Boone --brother
      -whereas Joseph and testator have been and are jointly interested and concerned in the purchase of sundry estates both real and personal and whereas there are large sums of money due them on this account and well as debts due, testator requests brother Joseph in eonjunction w/testator's executors are to bring all matters concerning the joint venture to a speedy conclusion and should it be necessary. then Joseph to have the sum of 300 pounds and Francis the sum of 100 pounds as compensation as executors of the will
      -named executor of the will along wi testator's brother Joseph and to have the 62 pounds Virginia currency due testator being part of the debt due to testator from Joseph Thomas in testator's private account and shall he applied --- received to the pavment of the ground rent For that amount, due John Harper of Alexandria by Joseph Boone and brother and that their account shall stand debted to testator's private account For that -to have the sum of 350 pounds

      -to have the sum of $1000.00 to be divided among them as They come of age and should any of them die before coming of age that share to be divided among the survivors

      -to bave feather bed and furn., all the household funtiture now in his possession, along with a by stud horse, / mahogany dining table sold to him by testator and the paymcnt is hereby revoked
      6. Priscilla Boone --sister-in-law
      -to have testator's sulky and harness, 1 pair of— and irons and all the — testator is entitled to and in her possession
      7, Rev. Francis Neale —of Georgetown
      -to have S40.00 and Joseph Eden to have the sum of $30.00 and to the Rev. Robert Plunket (?) to have the sum of $30.00—the said sums ro be applied by them' for testator's future benefit and $100.00 to be applied to charitable purposes, thc proper objects to be determined by executors and to be paid out of the moneys due testator from Joseph Thomas and the balance due testator from Thomas to be for the benefit of the Roman Catholic Church at the discretion of testator's executors
