Yielding and paying therefore unto the said John Wright, the yearly rent of one Peppercorne at the ffeast of St. Michaele the archangele onely if the same be Lawfully demanded which said Grant Bargain and Sale is so made as aforesaid, to the Intent and purpose that by Virtue thereof and by force of the Statute for transferring use into pofsefsion, the said Richard Worsdell may be actually pofsefsed of and Interested in the above granted Bargained and Sold premises, and be thereby also enabled, to accept a grant Release and Confirmation, thereof so that the ffreehold, Inheritance and Reversion in ffee of the aforesaid granted Bargained and Sold premises may without attournment of tenant Livery of Seisin or other ceremony be conveyed unto settled & assured upon him the said Richard Worsdell his heirs and afsignes forever

Begining at a marked Spanish Oak standing in the Northermost line of a tract of Three hundred and seven acres and an halfe of land belonging to aforesd. JOHN WRIGHT, (of which this One hundred acres is part), and extending thence North thirty two degrees West one hundred and eighty poles to a marked corner Pohickory standing in the line of GILBERT METCALFE, and from thence South forty two and an halfe degrees West thirty four poles to a marked red Oak standing on the South side of RICHMOND MAIN ROAD, thence South runing and binding upon said Road one hundred twenty six poles to two small marked red Oaks standing on the aforementioned Road side, thence South sixty one degrees East eighty three poles to a marked Chesnut tree, thence South twenty five degrees East forty poles to a marked red Oak. thence North forty nine and an halfe degrees West sixty eight poles to the first menconed line, from thence along said line North thirty two degrees West thirty nine poles to the first mentioned tree, Together with all houses orchards comodities and appurtenances; To have and to hold the tract of land and other the premises unto THOMAS TAYLOR his heirs and RICHARD WORSDELL and his heirs the tract of land and other the premises against all persons will warrant and for ever defend by these presents: In Witness whereof the parties first above named to these present Indentures have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written

      THIS INDENTURE made this Second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred twenty and seven Between ROGER WILLIAMS of Pish of Northfarnham in County of Richmond of one part and RICHARD WORSDELL of the Pish and County aforesaid of other part; Witnesseth that ROGER WILLIAMS in consideracon of the sum of Five shillings Sterling to him in hand paid by RICHARD WORSDELL. the receipt whereof ROGER WILLIAMS doth hereby acknowledge, hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto RICHARD WORSDELL and assigns all that par- cell of land scituate in aforesd. Pish and County and now in the tennure and occupacon of said RICHARD WORSDELL containing by estimacon Fifty acres be the same more or less and bounded; Beginning on the land of EDMUND NORTHEN and running along NORTHENs line to the land of GEORGE THOMSON, thence along THOMSONs line to the land of Mr. DANIEL McCARTY, thence along McCARTYs land to the land of DAVID WILLIAMS, thence along DAVID WILLIAMS line to the place where it first began, Together with all houses orchards priviledges and comoditys to the same belonging; To have and to hold the parcel! of land and premises with appurtenances unto RICHARD WORSDELL his heirs during the term of one whole year paying therefore the rent of one Ear of Indian Corn at the Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel if lawfully demanded to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession, RICHARD WORSDELL may be in the actuall possession of the premises and thereby be the better enabled to accept a release of the inheritance thereof to him and his heirs;
