      To my wife Mary (said to be the daughter of Leasure Hall) all my estate both real and personal during her life in widowhood, but at her death or marriage, I give to my brother Daniel. To brother John Bailey fifty pounds, at the death of my wife.

      Leasure Hall's Will
      I Leasure Hall of the parish of Cople and County of Westmoreland being sick and weak of body but of good and perfect sense and memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament.
      Imprimis, I give to my daughter Ann Lewis five shillings sterling with what I have before given her.
      Item I give to my daughter Mary Bailey five shillings sterling with what I have before given her.
      Item I give unto my brother Ashton Hall, Negro man Ned for and during his natural life and after his death to my wife and if she dies without heir of my begetting, to my two daughters Ann Hall and Mary Hall.
      Item I give unto my wife Joanna Lewis Hall, Negro girl Nan, and the use of all my estate year real or personal for her natural life and after her death I give the use of it to my two daughters Ann and Mary for their lives and after their death to be equally divided between their lawful heirs.
      I appoint my loving wife to be executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th day of January 1770.

      At a Court held for Westmoreland County the 30th day of June 1772 this will was proved according to law by the oaths of Samuel Rust and Robert Jeffries witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. Teste (NB executrix qualified in September 1773)
