      IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN April 19th 1736 I JAMES JAMESON being sick & weak but of sound and perfect memory do make constitute and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner following.
      IMPS. I give and bequeath to my Son JAMES the land I bot of RICHD. COLEMAN lying in KING and QUEEN COUNTY.
      ITEM I leave Ten pounds currt. money to my Son DAVID and one gold ring with a stone to Mrs ELEANOR ROY and will that all the remainder of my Estate of what kind soever be equally divided amongst my beloved Sons THOMAS, JAMES & DAVID appointing the Revd. ROBT. ROSE, Mr. DANL. GAINES, MUNGO ROY and my said Son JAMES Execrs. of this my last Will and Testament

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that we JOHN VAWTER, WILLIAM BROOKS & JOHN CLEMENTS are held and firmly bound unto THOMAS WARING, JAS. GARNETT, ALEXANDER PARKER, FRANCIS SMITH, PHILIP JONES & WILLIAM ROAN Gent Justices of the County of Essex in sum of five hundred pounds Sterl. Witness our hands and Seals this XVIth day of November MDCCXXXVI
      THE CONDITION of the above obligation is such that if the above bound JOHN VAWTER Admr. with the Will annexed of all the goods chattels & credits of JAMES JAMESON deced during the minority of JAMES JAMESON the Executor do make or cause to be made a true & perfect inventory of all the goods chattels & credits of the sd deced the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited in the County Court of Essex at such time as he shall be thereunto required by the sd Court & further do make a just and true account of his actin gs & doings therein when thereto required by the sd Court and do also well & truly pay & deliver all the Legacies mentioned &Specifyed in ye sd Testament as far as the said goods chattels & credits will thereunto extend according to the value thereof & the Law shall charge him Then this obligation to be void and of none effect . .

      Pursuant to an order of Essex Court dated December 18th 1739 We the Subscribers have divided and set apart the Estate of JAMES JAMESON deceas'd among his children in manner following Viz.
      To THOMAS JAMESON four negroes by name Tom, Sarah, Pall & Little Tom;
      to JAMES JAMESON Harry, Hannah, Effie, little Harry and George;
      to DAVID JAMESON Bob, Will, Peg &Sal. The aforesaid JAMES JAMESON to pay to each of his Brothers in consideration of having the Best lot of the above negroes Five pounds current money And mean that DAVID JAMESON shall be paid Ten pounds currt. money as Specfick Legacy to him by his Fathers Will out of the Residue of the Estate in the hands of JOHN VAWTER in whose hands we find the above Balla. of money and the Estate is indebted to the sd VAWTER the above Balla. of Tobo. if the Court approves of the articles as above stated Given under our hands this 28th day of December 1739 MUNGO ROY

      THIS INDENTURE made the 26th day of August 1727 Between RICHARD COLEMAN of Drysdale Parish in County of King & Queen of one part & JAMES JAMESON of Parish of St. Anne & County of Essex Witnesseth that the said Richard Coleman for sum of Twenty two pounds Ten shillings current mony of Virginia doth grant unto the said James Jameson his heirs a certain parcel! of land being in drisdale parish in King & Queen County & bounded Beginning at a marked red oak standing on a point above a cove upon the side of a Swamp that falleth into WILLIAM DANIELs Mill Damb known by the name of the MUNDAY SWAMP thence down the same bounding thereon its several courses North South to a double maple standing in the mouth of a branch near the said William Daniels mill damb thence South to EDMOND BOOKERs line thence with the said line binding thereon South to the first mentioned begining red oak including & containing the just quantity of 100 acres
