Co., on Middle River, branch of Mattapony, etc. (except dower of Lucy Rogers, widow of Wm. Rogers, decd., who is now in actual possession, etc.). Witnesses, Lodowick Oneal, Wm. Rogers, Geo. Jany. 19, 1787. Jno. Downer and Frances, his wife, of Caroline Co. Rice Corner (or Conner) and Elizabeth, his wife; Wm. Rogers and Martha, his wife, of Spots. Co.; Sarah Rogers and Catherine Rogers, which sd. Frances, Elizabeth, Sarah, Catherine, and Wm. are the children of Wm. Rogers, late of the sd. County of Spots., Decd., to John Rogers of Spots. Co., son of the sd. Wm. Rogers, deed. Whereas, the sd. Wm. Rogers in his lifetime, did sell to Thos. Pollard of Fairfax Co., a certain tract of land, and it has been suggested that the heirs as afsd., might have an interest in the same, therefore, they have agreed to release all their right, title, interest which they may have in or to the sd. land, to the sd. Jno. Rogers, etc., etc. Witnesses, Atwell Coghill, Jno. Yates, Jno. Pollett, jr.; Jno. x Pollett, Sr.; Danl. Playle, Jesse x Coats, Elizabeth x Oliff, Mary x Playle. April 3, 1787.
