To son Cornelius, ex., and hrs., all estate lying in Fairfield afsd. purchased of one Burk by testator's father and coveyed by him to testator, the conveyances being left in hands of kinsman Wm. Morwood, of Burbige Green, near Buxton, in Darbyshireo, also residue of estate, real and personal, in South Britain, Maryland, or elsewhere, and personalty.
To Anne Cope and goddaughter Ann, dau. of Rebecca Duplex, personalty.
Test. appoints father-in-law Cornelius White, gent., of Charles County, guardian and trustee for son during minority, he being 7 yrs. old 2nd of Feb. last. In case of decease of sd. guardian, test. appoints his brother-in-law, Luke Barber, to act in his place.
Test. describes himself as eld. son and heir of Andrew Norton, Sr., yeoman, of Fairfield afsd.., and states that it has been 13 yrs. since his leaving Cheshire and arrival in this province. He directs that he be buried in the garden of his dwel. place, as near as may be to his late wife.
