  Notes	=== Research Note by Grayson Thornton Sarah Taliaferro married Francis Dade March 13th, 1782 (8 years after her father married Sarah Dade), with consent of her father, Lawrence Taliaferro. Security was Hay Taliaferro. The apparent bible record of Sarah's birth in 1760 seems to fit well with her marriage date of 1782. From the preceding, I would deduce that Mary Jackson died before 1774, that she was the first wife of Lawrence Taliaferro, and the mother of Sarah (wife of Francis Dade). Other supporting information is that she named her daughter Mary Jackson Dade. Mary Jackson Dade (wife of D.M.F. Thornton) also passed this name on to her daughter, Mary Jackson Thornton, who married Catlett Conway
