Elizabeth Richard's Will
In the Name of God Amen, I Elizabeth Richards at present of Cople Parish and Westmoreland County being weak in body but of perfect sound and disposing sense and memory do make and constitute and ordain this my last will and testament in the following manner and form.
Item I give and bequeath unto Henrietta Lee and Sarah Lee all my wearing apparel and what money I shall be possessed of.
Item I give and bequeath unto Miss Mary Lee, Miss Hannah Lee, and Miss Ann Lee half a guina a piece to buy themselves a suit of fashionable ribbons.
Item I give and bequeath unto Cassius Lee, my silver buckles.
I constitute and appoint the Hon. Richard Henry Lee to be executors of this last will and testament made and signed at Chantilly this[ blank] day of 1784. E. Richards

At a court held in Westmoreland County the 25th day of April 1785 this will was presented in court by the Hon. Richard Henry Lee the executor therein named who made oath thereto as the law directs in the same being also duly proved by James Omohundro a witness thereto is admitted to record on the motion of the said Richard Henry Lee and his performing what the law in such cases require, a certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
