      Unto my daughter Mary Grose ten shillings, she having been formally advanced by me.
      Unto my daughter Elizabeth Searle ten shillings, she having been formally advanced by me.
      Unto my daughter Sarah Smith ten shillings, she having been formally advanced by me.
      Unto my daughter, Ann Hawkins ten shillings, she having been formally advahced by me.
      Unto my grandson Covington Searle a Negro girl Floreereserving to my daughter Eliza Searle the use of the said Negro during her life. -
      Unto my son Richard Covington all my tract whereon I now live.
      Unto my son Francis Covington the plantation whereon he now lives with as much land nearest thereto adjoining as will make 200 acres.
      To my son Francis all that my tract in Southfarnham Parish on the branchee of Gilson's Creek.
      Unto my sons Thomas and John Covington all the remaining part of my land in St. Ann's Parish on the branches of Occupatia Creek to be equally devided
      If either of my sons Francis, Thomas or John should die without issue his part of land shall be equally between the survivor of them.
      My loving wife Ann Covington have her right of dower in this my dwelling plantation and my seat of land purchased of Tandy on the branches of Gilson's Creek.
      All my Negros, stocks of cattle, hoggs and other kinds and all my houshold goods be equally devided amongst my loving wife and my sons Richard, Francis, Thomas, John and my daughter Winefret Covington.
      My son Francis and daughter Winefret take their estates immediately after my decease.
      My sons Thomas and John receive their estates when they shall attain to the age of eighteen years.
      My son Thomas and John Covington be under the care and tuition of Thomas Waring untill they attain the age of eighteen years.
      My sons Richard and Francis Covington executors and my daughter Wine fret executrix.

      IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen, I WILLIAM YOUNG of South Farnham Parish in the County of Essex bequeathing my body to be decently buried (by mine Exr. or Exrs. hereafter specified) and my Soul to God that gave it in sure & certain hope of a resurrection to eternall life through Jesus Christ our Lord & Saviour do make constitute ordaine & declare this my last Will & Testa,mt., & none other, I being of a capable minde & disposeing memory blessed be God. And now for the settling of my temporal Estate & such goods chattells & debts (as it hath pleased God) far above my merits to bestow upon me, I do order give & dispose ye same in manner & form as followeth.
      Imprs: I give & bequeath unto my Daughter, CATHERINE YOUNG, the full & just sum of Fivetie pounds Sterling to be paid about Twelve months after ye sd CATHARINEs Marriage;
      Item I give & bequeath unto my Daughter, ELIZABETH YOUNG, ye full sum of One hundred pounds Sterling to be paid at two equall payments thus fivetie pounds at the expiracon of ye first year after she is marryed & fivetie pounds after ye expiracon of ye next year after the sd. Marriage;
      Item. I give and bequeath unto these five (my Daughters) ANN COVINGTON, SARAH MOTTRAM, MARY CONTANCEAN & CATHARINE YOUNG all that money & goods of mine that lies in England or elsewhere out of Virginia to be equally divided betwixt ye sd Daughters, & likewise Twenty four thousand pounds of sweetscented tobacco & caske to be equally divided betwixt them and paid by my Sonne, WILLIAM YOUNG, at Eighty thousand per annum and that ye whole payment be ended or compleated within three yeares: And furthermore tis my desire that my four sd. Daughters (out of ye production of ye monies & tobaccoes aforemenconed) do contribute buy & deliver unto MARY, the Wife of RICHARD CARTER, a Negro either man or woman according to her own election & acceptacon and this is to be paid & compleated within three years after my decease
      Item I give and bequeath all ye rest of my estate both personal! and real moveable & immoveable unto my said Sonne, WILLIAM, and his heirs forever, he paying & dischargeing ye afore specified Legacies
      Item. I constitute or appoint my sd, Sonne, WILLIAM, one of my Exrs, as also RICHD, COVINGTON, SPENCER MO1TRAM & PETER CONTANCEAU, to be Ws, with my sd. Sonne to see this my Will p:formed & kept till he shall arrive to ye age of Twenty one years & thus acknowledging this to be my last Will & Testament; In Testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand & subfiied my settle this thirtieth day of November Anno Salutis one thousand six hundred ninety & seven
