    • 1716 July 2 William & Alexander Colclough, twin sons of Benjamin & Rachel born. Baptised St Pauls. William goes on to married Mary Rogers. In Nov same year an Alexander died aged 5 months NB there appears to be a 2nd Alexander who died young and left ship's carpentry tools.

      Stafford Co. Court, Nov 13, 1739, the nun-cupative will of Alexander Colclough was proved by the depositions of Rachel Colclough and John Jones. William Colclough was appointed administrator. Rachel Colclough, gave her age as about 61(calculated year of birth 1678), deposed that Alexander Colclough in his last sickness declared he gave all his estate to his brother, William Colclough. Inventory of his personal estate date Mar 8, 1739 and returned April 8, 1750 included a parcel of "Ships Carpenters and old Tools"(Stafford Wills)

      1729-1748 Stafford County, Virginia Will Book M; [Antient Press]; Page 277 The Deposition of RACHEL COCLOUCH aged about 61 years being Sworn deposeth that ALEXANDER COCLOUGH in his last Sickness declared that he gave all his Estate to his brother WILLIAM COCLOUCH and that he was then in perfect Sence and memory and further Saith not.       At Court held for Stafford County November the 13th 1739 The Nuncupative will of Alexander Colclough being proved by the witnesses admitted to record and administration of the said decedent's Estate with the will annext is granted WILLIAM COLCLOUCH.
