Charles County Land Records, Liber M#2 Page 167. At the request of Sarah Noe of CC, Gent, the following deed was recorded Jun 19, 1729.
Noe of CC, spinster, for 4500 lbs of tobacco, all that tract of land, being part of a tract called Lemly, lying in CC, formerly in St Mary's County, lying on the south side of the main swamp that falls into Piles' Fresh, containing 125 acres. Also one other tract of land, contiguous to the afd tract, called the Timber Swamp, bounded by the main run of White Oak Swamp, containing 46 acres. Signed - Thos (T his mark) Dyson. Wit - Jno Briscoe*, Robt Yates*. This deed was acknowledged by Thomas Dyson and Sarah, his wife.
