      [Very faded areas] At the request of John Harris Jr of CC, the following deed was recorded this May 3, 1733.
      Feb 20, 1732 from John Woodman of CC, planter, and Sarah, his wife, one of the daughters and co-heirs of George Newman, late of CC, decd, to John Harris Jr of CC, planter. Nicholas Guyther, late of St Mary's County, Gent, .. Sep _, 1665, by his deed (recorded in Provincial Records Liber FF folio 119), sold to George Newman, 3 tracts of land in CC on the north side of Potomack River, which tract containing 100 acres now in the possession of Rando Brandt and Jacob Brandt sd George Newman .. above Woodman, Eliza Williams .. sd George Newman .. Jno Woodman & Sarah, his wife .. partition of sd to 4 equal parts .. recorded CC Liber M folio 235 & 236 bounded by .. to the land of the afd Rando and Jacob Brandt, thence to the beginning. Now this deed witnesses that sd John Woodman and Sarah, his wife, for 10,000 lbs of tobacco to him in hand paid by the afd John Harris, and for divers other good causes, have sold to sd John Harris, the 75 acres of land aforementioned, to be possessed in severalty by sd John Woodman and Sarah, his wife, according to the metes and bounds thereof herein before expressed. To have and to hold, the 75 acres, to John Harris. Signed - John Woodman, Sarah (I her mark) Woodman, Wit - Jno Howard*, Robt Yates*.
