      The Last Will and Testament ofTHOMAS WEEDON, Gent., deced., was proved by the Oaths of the wittnesses thereto, a Probat thereof is granted ROBERT LOVELL, Surviveing Executor therein named, and the Will ordered to be recorded, And it is likewise ordered ROBERT LOVELL doe return a true full and perfect Inventory and Account of the said WEEDON's Estate to the next Court on Oath

      Unto my son Jordan Weedon all my lands in Westmoreland County. In default of heirs to my daughter Mary Weedon, but in default of [male] heirs to George Weedon son of Thomas Weedon and George Weedon son of Benja. Weedon equally.
      All my personal estate to be equally divided between my loving wife Susannah and my two children Jordan Weedon and Mary Weedon.
      To Benja. Weedon my best suite of cloath, shoes, stockings and hat.
      To George Beard my next best suit of cloth.
      To Thomas Weedon my ring, the Posie being in memory of Jno, Jordan.
      To John Weedon one ring marked L: W.
      My loving wife Susannah and my son Jordan Weedon and my loving brother John Weedon executors.
      The care and tuition of my two children Jordan Weedon and Mary Weedon and their estates to John Weedon, and to live on the plantation with them and to maintain them out of the profits of the estate.
      My estate shall not be appraised but an inventory be taken. Andrew Munroe and John Washington and Thomas Weedon to divide my estate.

      DAVID BROWN Whereas by one certain Act of Assembly made at a aGenerall Assembly begun at her Majties Queen Ann's Royall Capitoll the 23d day of October in the fourth yeare ofher Majtie's Reign Anno Domini 1705 inter alla, it is enacted and provided that &c. as in the order on the other side, &c., And whereas DAVID BROWN is appointed Surveyor ofthe Highwayes for that Precinct ofWashington Parish where THOMAS WEEDON, Gent. lately officiated, vixt, from that place where Mr.. DANIEL FIELD's Precinct doth end and so all the usuall Roads within the same as low as WASHINGTON's MILL. it is ordered, &c.
