Page 529-530 In Name of God Amen I JOSEPH WAUGH of County of Stafford being sick but in sound mind do appoint this and this only to be my last will and testament. Item I give to my Loving Son JOSEPH WAUGH all that parcel of land bought by me of RAWLEIGH CHINN lying on Deep run containing by Estimation 504 acres to him and his heirs for ever. Item my desire is that all my Negroes should he equally divided between my Loving Wife MILLION WAUGH and my Loving Sons GOWRY WAUGH JOSEPH WAUGH & TRAVERSE WAUGH to my three sons and their heirs for ever and after the death of my loving Wife Milliam Waugh all the Negroes left her should be equally divided between my three loving children above mentioned. In witness - I have set my hand .. the 4th day of September 1747.

Page 530- 532 In obedience to Order of the Worshipfull Court of Stafford County bearing date the Xth day of May 1748 We the Subscribers being appointed by the said Court to appraise and Inventory the Estate of Mr. JOS. WAUGH deced and to make a return thereof - on Monday the 16th day of the same Instant we proceeded to appraise and Inventory the same being first sworn before Capt. JAMES WAUGH one of his Malys Justices of the Peace for the said County .. items listed and valued .. Given under our hands this 7th day May 1748.
